Let’s Count Together

Kanika sat on the wooden floor together with her maa, papa and brother in the afternoon sun. Everyone laid out both hands on the floor and spread their fingers. Kanika’s mother took her one hand out and started to count the fingers loudly. She asked her children to do the same. Kanika and Rohan followed their mother’s instructions and started to point and loudly count the fingers of their family members.
